We are going home to the peach state. Notice I said we. Usually I am the only one able to get off work and go home but for the first time since we have been married and moved to North Carolina, WE are going home. It has been almost 6 months since I have seen my family and 10 months since Bob has seen his. This trip is long overdue. This actually the first time I will make this drive since last time when I got the blood clot, so my nerves have kicked in a bit but there will be lots of stops. This is also Izzy’s first road trip ,we are so excited about taking her with us to meet our families, I am excited she will get to socialize with my parent’s poodles. This trip is jam packed with things to do including Jamey and Jamie’s Wedding Saturday. We are leaving this afternoon when Bob get out of class and coming back Sunday.
